Music and Gym Classes
Music ClassAll Grace students participate in a weekly music class which includes rhythm, rhymes, singing, dancing, movement and an introduction to all kinds of musical instruments. We also offer “Tuneful Tots”, a class for younger siblings and friends ages birth to 2 ½ years of age. Students celebrate all they have learned with special performances for families in December and spring.Gym ClassDuring the cold winter months, Grace students participate in a
12- week program to introduce and reinforce gross motor skills such as hopping, skipping and jumping while also engaging in fun games and activities. They get some extra exercise learning to throw and kick a ball, ride our scooters and work with hula hoops.
Stay N' Play
Grace students can extend the school day for one or two hours by enrolling for Stay and Play. Children eat lunch and enjoy indoor and outdoor play with their friends. We offer special lunch days during which bagels, pizza and chicken fingers can be ordered! This program runs from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM when school is in session.

Field Trips and Special VisitorsNursery and Pre-Kindergarten classes participate in local field trips to enrich our curriculum. Students visit an Arboretum, zoo and the dentist. Additionally, a naturalist visits our school to teach us about wildlife and a portable planetarium comes to our school to teach us about space. Volunteer visitors from the ambulance corps,
fire department and police department help us to
learn about our community.
Parents’ Advisory BoardGrace Nursery School has an active Parents’ Board which hosts special events throughout the school year. They sponsor special holiday events including our Pumpkin Patch, Trunk or Treat, Thanksgiving Feast, and Snack with Santa. Board sponsored family events include Donuts with Dad, Muffins(and Yoga!) with Mom
and Grandparents’ Day.
Enrichment ClassesOur school currently offers the opportunity for students toenroll in classes from outside providers on our campus.Currently we are offering soccer, dance and tumbling.Enrichment class times are held after our morning session.Additionally, throughout the year, our own teachers will offerspecial workshops such as “Spooky Science”
and “Gingerbread Extravaganza”. These classes are greatopportunities to extend the school day while having lots offun!

Toddler Time
For those who have children a little too young for preschool and may be hesitant to be left without you - our “Toddler Time” Group is a great way to promote learning, enhance creativity, and teach social skills in a safe, controlled environment. “Toddler Time” will include Storytime, crafts, music and so much more…
Summer Full of Fun: Summer Camp
Grace Nursery School runs a "Summer Full of Fun" program for preschoolers each summer. This 9-week program of preschool summer activities is available in June, July and August for children who are 3.5, 4 and 5 years old. Classes meet from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, Monday through Friday.
Registration begins February 1st for our students (current/incoming) and February 15th for students not enrolled at Grace (General Public).
